Statement of Andrew Duck on Bartlett Child Health Insurance Vote

WOODSBORO, MD — Democratic Congressional candidate Andrew Duck called Republican Roscoe Bartlett's vote upholding President Bush's veto of SCHIP, the bipartisan child health insurance program, "callous, political and just plain wrong."

"Congressman Bartlett has voted again in favor of the political interests of President Bush, against the clear wishes of the people of the 6th District, and above the health of millions of kids in working- and middle-class families," Duck said.
