ANNAPOLIS -- The Maryland-D.C. statewide AFL-CIO voted today to endorse Andrew Duck for Congress in Maryland's 6th Congressional District. The vote was unanimous.
Andrew Duck offered the following comment on the endorsement, " I am honored that the AFL-CIO recognized today my commitment to the working families of Maryland's 6th district. Today's unanimous endorsement by the Maryland-DC AFL-CIO demonstrates the depth of support for change in the state of Maryland. I look forward to working with the AFL-CIO this fall and into the future."
Andrew Duck is a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Army, an Iraq War Veteran who served on the ground in that nation in 2003, and is a Democrat running for U.S. Congress in Maryland's 6th Congressional District against Republican Roscoe Bartlett. Andrew lives with his wife Whitney in Brunswick, Maryland.
